Duties : Reporting to the Cell Managers, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the full range of quality activities within a busy manufacturing operation producing components and assemblies for direct supply to customers. Most notably, this will include perpetuating a continuous improvement culture, liaison with customers and suppliers, developing quality systems and liaison with members of the production team to monitor, report and implement corrective actions for non conforming components. Monitoring, reviewing and updating KPI’s on a daily weekly and monthly trends, along with highlighting possible issues accordingly.
Skills & Experience : The ideal candidate will an experience Quality Engineer, and will be fully versed in the practices of FMEA’s, APQP and Continuous Improvement techniques coupled with experience in monitoring and improving measuring techniques using gauge reliability and repeatability studies like SPC.
Salary : £22- 25k dependant on skills and ability
