Previous experience within food manufacturing is not required and full on the job training is provided for all these positions. The key requirements are experience of electrical fault finding, a ‘can do’ attitude and a desire to learn.
£30-35k + overtime + stakeholder pension + personal development scheme
A leading engineering company are looking to recruit an electrically biased maintenance engineer with a decent working knowledge of PLC systems to work 12 hour shifts. This role will be in a high tempo production environment and you will work in a team of four. Full training is provided. Due to the size of this organisation fantastic prospects are available. Members of staff are encouraged to attend additional courses (Siemens PLC’s and 17th Edition), funding is available to put you through additional qualifications (up to degree level) and all candidates are put through a personal development scheme. You will have the opportunity to become a technical expert or go on a management training scheme within two years.
£27,800 + overtime + final salary pension
One of the UK’s premier food producers, who have won numerous awards for the quality of their product, are looking for an electrically biased engineer to work at their modern and expanding site in Leicester. Once you have finished your training you will be left to work on your own initiative on a broad range of food processing, packaging and refrigeration plant. Funding is provided to put all engineers through additional qualifications.
£25-27k + Stakeholder pension
An autonomous role at an organisation with production sites across the UK. In this role you will maintain production machinery and take responsibility for building services management (air conditioning, lighting, compressors and refrigeration). Candidates must have electrical skills and a good knowledge of hydraulics or pneumatics.
